US: As we near the 30th anniversary of HIV/AIDS in 2011, "The HIV Story
Project" brings together S.F. Bay Area filmmakers and people living
with HIV/AIDS to create a panorama of stories that shed light on the
world's most substantial health pandemic. Based in San Francisco and
interacting with online communities around the globe, "The HIV Story
Project" is an unprecedented collaborative story telling venture. A
fusion of everything from straight forward vérité documentary, to
music video, dance film, narrative, experimental film or animation—the
goal is to deliver a feature length compilation that bridges a diverse
slate of stories into one powerful expression of our times.
